Are the iPhone and Storm Smartphones or Netbooks?

Interesting article from CNET discussing the fact that the new Blackberry Storm is really a Netbook.  There was a similar article a few months back when Steve Jobs compared the iPhone to a Netbook.  I think there are some similarities in terms of the features and functionality but in reality, these seem like two different devices to me.

I see Netbooks as more of a threat to traditional laptops and software licensing models as more and more people use Internet applications to replace the purchased software that resides on more expensive / power powerful laptops.
