LinkedIn launched a new version of its people search engine that streamlines the sites most used features. These improvements revolve around making the company's core people-search capability easier to use (e.g. autocomplete). Additionally, LinkedIn has improved its advanced search capability by presenting options in a more accessible menu and is also making better use of the sites structured data to automatically detect when a search term is related to a name or to a person’s company and position.
