iPhone Firmware Upgrade Available Today ... More Kewl Stuff to Drain Your Battery [even faster than before]

Apple just released Version 2.2 of the iPhone Firmware.  

You get several new capabilities (that will drain your battery even faster) as well as some bug fixes, safari enhancements and the option to use auto correction (or not) 

The official list of new features / enhancements includes:
  1. Google Maps - It now has Street Views; public transit and walking directions; displays address of dropped pins; and has location sharing via email.
  2. Email -  Resolves isolated issues with the scheduled fetching of email as well as improved formatting of wide HTML email.
  3. ITunes - Podcasts are now available for download in iTunes (over Wi-Fi and cellular network). 
  4. Safari - General improvements to the stability of Safari
  5. Phone - Decreased in call set-up failures and drops as well as improvements to the sound quality of visual voicemail messages. 
  6. Editing - You can now turn the keyboard's auto-correction feature on or off, 
  7. Home (is Home) - Pressing the Home button from any screen takes you to the Home screen.
What's missing?  Cut and paste and MMS..... Boo!
